EarthSpirit Samhain

EarthSpirit Invites You To Attend Its 36th Annual Samhain Celebration

A Ritual of Harvest, Death and the Coming of Winter

We honor the ancestors and the recent dead at this ritual of harvest and remembrance.

In the fullness of Autumn, in the growing darkness, come take part in a celebration of this time when the veil between the worlds is thin.

Take time for yourself to reflect on mortality, honor those who have passed and find a quiet place in the darkness, to reap your harvest between now and winter.

You may bring a small photograph of a departed loved one to add to the ancestor altar (be sure to write your name on the back and pick them up again before you leave).

Donations for admission $10 will be collected at the door to cover our expenses. Associate members may deduct $1.

Dont forget to bring a can of food for the local Food Pantry as a symbol of the way we can nourish one another through the dark time.

There will be a potluck after the ritual so please bring food to share.
NO Alcohol - there can be no exceptions due to the facility rental agreement.

Children 5-16 may be admitted for $6; children under 5 are free. We welcome families at this event, but will frankly acknowledge the existence of death, including our own, and ask parents to make their own decisions about whether this is appropriate for their families. There is space outside the ritual room to step out with noisy little ones.
