EarthSpirit invites you to attend its annual Winter Solstice Celebration

Join us as we gather together to welcome the returning light to the Earth, and take part in a ritual celebrating the longest night and this cycle of the seasons. We come together to renew our connections and share the warmth of community.

The Winter Solstice, also known as Yule, is the holiday celebrating the rebirth of the Sun in the Pagan year. At this time of year many in the Northern Hemisphere gather together to rejoice at the beginning of the lengthening days.

The Boston Area Ritual and Feast will be held on Saturday, December 19th, 2009 at:

First Church Somerville
89 College Ave
Davis Square, Somerville, MA 02144

(There is parking in nearby and it is MBTA accessible.)

Donations for admission $10 - $15 sliding scale Children's admission $6.00
Associate members may deduct $1.

The celebration will open at 7:30 PM and the doors will close at 8:00 PM for the duration of the ritual part evening celebration.

This is a family participation event.

Don't forget to bring a can of food for the local Food Pantry as a symbol of the way we can nourish one another through the dark time.

Feel free to also bring a YULE ornament to decorate the Yule tree.

There will be a feast with entertainment after the ritual , we welcome food to share.
NO Alcohol - there can be no exceptions due to the facility rental agreement.
