A performance to benefit OxFam America on the Boston Common, Boston, Ma, USA. MotherTongue performed a variety of Earth based songs to a large and varied audience. The group incorporates many different styles from traditional folk music to more contemporary mouth music. They can be seen at many EarthSpirit Events and Open Circles as well as other Pagan festivals and gatherings.
This performance piece "Karasu" was created to call the magic of the crow. It uses rhythm and sounds that emulate the cacophony of a flock of crows, yet underneath there is a sweet Japanese lullaby.
