Program Information

Celebrating the Sacred Earth

In the tradition of Rites of Spring we will have many wonderful events on the schedule.

  • In-depth classes which meet daily
  • Ceremonies from different traditions, including our annual rituals of Dancing the Maypole and Weaving the Web of Community
  • Dozens of one-time workshops on subjects ranging from ecology to tarot, to meditation, to African drumming and dance and indigenous European traditions
  • Transformative rituals
  • Drumming circles and Sacred Dance for all levels
  • Programs especially for young adults
  • Family and children's events and workshops
  • Visual Arts Salon
  • Concerts by community musicians
  • All-day Guiser's Intensive workshop
  • Ritual Dance for the Web workshop

The Village Builders' Assembly will offer rituals, as well as round-table discussions designed to generate a deep sense of community focus for all involved.

The vast majority of experienced presenters at Rites of Spring are volunteers from within the community. If you or your group would like to offer a workshop, organize a ritual, perform music, dance or theater, or contribute to the program in any way, we would love to hear from you. Please fill out and return our form which you can obtain from the Proposal page. Please make sure your email address is on the form at the top, so that we can contact you promptly. We like to include as many of the traditions represented as possible, so we encourage you to share the way that you practice by offering a presentation. Give some special consideration too, to what you might have to offer our young people's program. They are, after all, the future of our community.
