Ted Mills Memorial Scholarship Fund

The Ted Mills Memorial Scholarship Fund is off to a good start As of early spring 1997, the scholarship fund created in honor of departed Craft elder, Theodore Mills, is well on its way to becoming a viable resource for Pagans and Witches requiring financial assistance in order to attend Rites of Spring or other Pagan gatherings. The total assets of the fund are $944.00 and have come from two donors, one in honor of Ted Mills, and the other from the estate of a long-time Rites of Spring participant who wanted to offer the experience of attending Rites to others.

The fund is structured so that only the interest earned by the account is available for scholarships. This way, each donation continues to provide benefits to the community over a much longer period of time and the available monies can increase over the years as new donations are added to the fund.

If you would like to make a contribution to the scholarship fund in memory of someone or would just like to make a personal donation, please send a check made out to the Ted Mills Memorial Fund to:

The EarthSpirit Community,
PO Box 723,
Williamsburg, MA 01096.

Each year financial assistance, funded by EarthSpirit and CCR, is offered in the form of work exchange or scholarships for twenty to thirty participants at Rites of Spring including at least two full scholarships for individuals or families who could not otherwise attend. These opportunities are also supported by the generosity of other Rites of Spring participants and EarthSpirit members and by contributions from the Ted Mills Memorial Fund.
